  65.         TIMEMASTER HAS MUCH IN STORE FOR THE P.C. USER. In addition
  66.         to the >twelve-volume UTILITY COLLECTION, we are working on
  67.         a number of things. This Disk includes two programs to give
  68.         you a kind of "sneak preview". BOOP.EXE and SLEEP.EXE  both
  69.         will be included in a future >one or two disk set for WRIT-
  70.         ERS.  They both come from a user-supported disk you need to
  71.         KNOW about. We are constantly searching the "public do-
  72.         main", looking for just this type of software.  Here is

  76.                      The Writer's Toolkit
  77. -----------------------------------------------------------------------
  78.  The Writer's Toolkit is a collection of 20 executable utility programs
  79. inspired by Kernighan & Pike's Software Tools.Most of the utilities are
  80. filters that process txt files.These utilities include:converting lower
  81. case to upper case & upper case to lower case,encrypting and decrypting
  82. files etc.Each utility has a well written & concise documentation file.
  83. The doc files give examples for each utility.
  84. A most interesting program is MEMO.This program will display memos that
  85. have a date the same as system date. CALENDAR displays the calendar for
  86. any given month.  You will need to have a CONFIG.SYS file that has the
  87. command"DEVICE=ANSI.SYS"in it in order for the calendar to be displayed
  88. correctly. CALENDAR works for dates between 1901 and 1989.

  90. The Writer's Toolkit is user-supported with a >$15.95 registration con-

  138.       The MAIN MENU was designed to be CHANGED.Four xtra lines
  139.       have been left at the top for future increase within the
  140.       body.As with ALL modifications,use the MS-DOS EDLIN text
  141.       editor for making changes. Don't overlook Edlin's Trans-
  142.       fer command when revising.We will publicize your changes
  143.       in TM's"Bits & Bytes" that are brought to our attention.

  149.       Review,better yet, PRINT the different types with PrtSc.

  172.       you will see how easy batch files are to create.They can
  173.       save many keystrokes and perform repetetive functions. A
  174.       good place to start is with the MS-DOS EDLIN text editor
  175.       to make up your batch files.  ALWAYS use  Edlin's Trans-
  176.       fer command when revising.Find EXISTING batch files that
  177.       SUIT YOU---then transfer them to your newly created one.
